INGREDIENTS For the Brownies
  1. 1/2 cup butter
  2. 4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
  3. 1 1/2 cups sugar
  4. 3 large eggs
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  6. 1 cups all-purpose flour
  7. 1/2 teaspoons salt
INGREDIENTS For the Mint Frosting
  1. 1/4 cup butter , softened
  2. 2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  3. 1 1/2 - 3 Tablespoons milk
  4. 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  5. Green food coloring
INGREDIENTS For the Chocolate Glaze
  1. 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  2. 1/2 cup butter
DIRECTIONS For the Brownies:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13" inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Chop the butter and the unsweetened chocolate into chunks and place together in a microwave safe bowl.
  3. Microwave on high power in 1 minute, stir and microwave for another minute. Stir until smooth. Set aside to cool, stirring occasionally.
  4. In a large bowl beat together the eggs, and sugar. Slowly add the melted chocolate, and vanilla while stirring.
  5. Stir in the flour and salt into the chocolate batter, just until combined. Don't over-mix.
  6. Pour batter into greased pan and bake for 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

DIRECTIONS For the frosting:
  1. Cream the butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  2. Slowly add milk until frosting is smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the peppermint extract and food coloring.
  4. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled brownies. Chill for 1 hour.

DIRECTIONS For the Chocolate Glaze:
  1. Place chocolate chips and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high power in 90 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  2. Spread evenly over the frosted brownies. Return to fridge for 45 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
